Wow Chef 100/10 every time !! The flavors on the calamari made my tounge dance the cha cha 💃!! The apple walnut salad with the green apple and the dressing is a kiss from an ANGEL ! BUT WHAT MADE IT VERY MEMORABLE WAS JACKSON. He's so authentic, charismatic, hilarious and just him. I bet he gets all the ladies with that charm . Again thank you !!
Just wanted to let the manager know about our server tonight. His name was Josh and he was hands down one of the best servers in the business. With my wife having celiac disease it’s sometimes hard to find gluten free meals at restaurants and when we are unsure if a menu item is gluten free or not we ask the server but they almost always have to check with the kitchen to verify. Well not tonight, Josh knew everything about the menu which was fantastic. He even recommended some options to make an appetizer that’s normally not gluten free so we could order it. I would highly recommend this place for GF options. Josh deserves a round from management.
We frequent Brick29 to celebrate many various occasions and have always had great experiences with both service and food. Our favorites are the calamari app, brussel sprouts app, mushroom bisque, and the filet entree. I love having Brick29 so close to home thus eliminating the need to drive to Downtown Boise for a restaurant of similar caliber - it's truly such a gem in Nampa! I do wish the cocktails were a little more consistently made as the last couple times my favorite cocktail (Bees Knees sub gin for whiskey) wasn't quite as good as it had been made in the past. Still nothing that would keep me away from Brick29 though! Each time I can't wait for my next visit.
What a nice surprise!! We were seated quickly. Ray, our waiter, took our order, was pleasant yet had a sense of good energy. He was well versed in the menu including accommodating my Celiac with plenty of options!! I ordered the filet mignon. It was cooked perfectly as was.the creme brulee. Will go again! Beautiful views. Did not get to visit the speakeasy downstairs ... next time!
Absolutely loved this place! My 14 month old even loved their fried oysters! Really great food with wonderful flavor. Their staff is great! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If I lived in Nampa, this would be a place I would want to frequent often. It would be wise to make a reservation before going.
Came here for the first time today. My sister and I had the "to die for" fries, naked sure you add the bacon. Shared a delish Reuben sammy, and we each had a cup of the most fabulous mushroom bisque. Took home bread pudding for dessert later. Also fabulous! Service was prompt and friendly. The place runs like a well-oiled machine. Wonderful atmosphere. Just go. Whenever you get a chance.
Staff was very friendly. Most people had reservations but we just did a random walk in and were seated pretty quickly. The food was wonderful especially the Birria Grilled Cheese. The Bread Pudding was the highlight of the evening. Bistro chicken with the polenta was not my favorite but was recommended so I tried it. You can tell they take pride in their presentation all plates looked like they could be on the cover of a magazine. Definitely would go back again for the Bread Pudding alone.
The only negative: it was a little awkward using the elevator to get to the restaurant. Had lunch with my brother, absolutely beautiful space: lots of light and very clean. All the staff were nice but our waiter was amazing. He was accommodating and helpful. We had the trio dip and loved each flavor. The beet carpaccio salad was a lot of fun. Mac n cheese amazingly creamy and perfect. My brother really enjoyed his Hagerman trout and my blueberry pork chop was giant, delicious, and well balanced.
Brick 29 is a great dining experience in Nampa. Josh was our waiter and was awesome. Great recommendations since they have some new/rotating dishes. We have eaten here multiple times and it’s always been great! Tried the peach feta appetizer which was great. Calamari is also a fave of ours. I got one of the specials today filet seared. Drinks always on point!
Since we have lived in the Treasure Valley for about 6 years now, over the years we have had friends tell us we need to check out Brick 29. Well we just did with some friends and we were not disappointed. The restaurant sits on the 3rd floor with a view of downtown Nampa. The dining experience is casual, our server was very helpful in deciding what to try on the menu. My friend Mark tried the fillet and he said he would order it again. My wife tried the goat cheese raviolis and she shared a few with me. I ordered the 2 day brined pork chop with blueberry sauce and I have to say that was the best pork chop I have ever consumed in my life. Of course we consumed adult beverages along the way, including wine that was paired with menu items. Overall it was a very good dining experience and of good value. Pricing was very reasonable in comparison to competitors. We will be long term customers and extremely pleased with the food and service.
